We are delighted to report that Dr. Balbina Bäbler (University of Göttingen) has joined the editorial team of Plekos! She is an expert on archaeology and material culture with a particular sensibility for the links between images and texts. Balbina Bäbler has worked extensively on the Black Sea region as well as on archaeological chronology and is currently focusing on education and religion in Christian libraries in Late Antiquity, on the reception of antiquity (Johann Joachim Winckelmann), and is part of the excavation team in Ashdod Yam.
